Juan Romero is PhD student in Mechanical Engineering under the Embodied Dexterity Group. Previously, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, and worked in Line Management and Continuing Engineering of SLA 3D printers as a Manufacturing Engineer for Formlabs. His research interests include electromechanical machine and sensor design for physical robotic interactions as well as the design and performance of bio-inspired mechanisms for dexterous manipulators. In his spare time, Juan is involved in making and gaming. He is often machining or finishing gifts for his friends and family or following games commonly appearing in eSports.
