Design of Planar Machinery

This elective senior-level class focuses on the geometric and force transmission design of planar machines, including graphical, analytical, and numerical analysis and synthesis of linkages. Generalized methods are applied to example technologies like cams, reciprocating engines, gear trains, and flywheels.
